Kilobits per second
A measure of data transmission rate (speed) equal to approximately 1024 bits per second.
Data rate is also often measured in Mbps:
1 Mbps = 1024 Kbps
The "Kb" in Kbps should not be confused with KB, which stands for kilobytes, a very different measurement.
