IP

IP stands for "Internet Protocol".

A standard protocol designed for use in interconnected systems of packet-switched digital communication networks.

A low-level networking standard that is the basis of the Internet, as well as 4G wireless networks.

IP can also stand for Intellectual Property, meaning ideas that can be owned and protected with copyright, trademark, or a patent.

IP can also stand for Ingress Protection or International Protection, a rating for protection against dust and water.
