Time-lapse
(Timelapse)
A camera feature that takes a series of stills over an extended period of time, and combines them into a single short animation / video.
For example, one might place their phone on a tripod and use time-lapse to record painting a watercolor. Although the process might take an hour, the resulting time-lapse video might be something like 15 seconds.
